We’re spending more time outdoors, and that usual involves adding features for the activities you want to enjoy in your backyard. Outdoor kitchens are popular along with more creative furniture for eating and entertaining. If you’re going to spend time outdoors, you’ll also need lighting. Here is this week’s Fabulous Friday Find, backyard lighting that’s unexpected.

backyard lighting can create a relaxing mood

Backyard Lighting That Creates a Mood

So how do you feel when you look at this photo? Imagine you had to work late, or maybe you finally got the kids into bed. If this is what you saw in your backyard, wouldn’t you want to go out there and relax? There’s enough light to walk safely around the pool and find a comfy seat where you can sit and enjoy the quiet, or maybe the cicadas.

These lights might also inspire you to entertain more at home, rather than meeting friends out at a restaurant or the movies. People are spending more time at home and that’s why it’s important to think about how you want to spend your free time, and how you want to decorate both indoors and outside, to do just that.

Outdoor Living & Backyard Lighting

The Moonlight® outdoor patio lights come from Home Infatuation (the name says a lot) with lots of choices.

  • Moonlights can be used indoors or outdoors.
  • The lights come in a portable model, or you can attach them to any hard surface where you want backyard lighting.
  • Moonlight globes com in 4 sizes from just under 10 inches to almost 30 inches.
  • Ideal for backyard lighting as they’re made from unbreakable polyethylene that’s waterproof, UV resistant and withstand extreme winter and summer temperatures.
  • Moonlights are energy efficient using low wattage CLFs.
  • You have a choice in the globe’s color (white, faux stone, terra cotta or light/dark granite) and there are color filters you can place over the bulbs too.

We hope you are enjoying the summer, and we’d love for you to share photos of your backyard lighting too.
